Film star Jessica Brown Findlay famous from Downton Abbey, has announced she has welcomed twin boys with her husband Ziggy Heath.
The actress, who played Lady Sybil in the hit ITV period drama, shared first photograph of her gorgeous twin sons at Instagram on Thursday, after safely delivering them
Jessica revealed her boys were born on Bonfire Night as she wrote: “5.11.2 Our boys ! Remember Remember.”
It is a poignant moment for the ITV star who has been open about her fertility struggles.
Back in March, Jessica, who first went public with her pregnancy in September at the Venice Film Festival, spoke about her journey towards motherhood with a candid post to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The ITV actress has been undergoing IVF treatment with her husband, Ziggy Heath, since marrying two years ago.
“IVF has made me even more aware of just how much women are capable of and what we can achieve whilst going through pain and heartbreak,” she said previously. “Your body is not the enemy. Love it. No matter what. Sending love and support to every woman I have ever met and all the ones I haven’t but know what this is.”
“I hoped to work more this side of having babies. But you can’t. It is very hard to insure pregnant women on set, and since coronavirus it’s become even harder because you are considered even higher risk,” she said previously.
After addressing her IVF struggle, fans rushed to support her. “Can totally relate, thanks for your vulnerability, you incredible warrior woman you! Sending up some prayers x,” one commented. “Thank you for showing this! I wish you all the luck and happiness going forward! You are tougher than anything life will throw at you,” another chimed in with.
